iPhone 5 October release?

apple logoAs the release date for the iPhone 4S or 5 becomes imminent, there has certainly been no shortage of news and rumors regarding the device’s build and design. In the meantime, here are some of the bigger headlines that have emerged lately regarding the mysterious device.

With AT&T and Verizon already on the bandwagon, Sprint users are getting pumped about the strongly rumored possibility that the next generation iPhone will be brought to their carrier. With that news, T-Mobile users got their hopes up for a universally carried (at least in the US) iPhone, but now articles suggest that perhaps “America’s Largest 4G Network” may be getting the snub.

Al Gore, who serves on Apple’s board of directors, recently hinted at the release of multiple “iPhones” before the year’s end. Curious as to what the iPhone 4S or 5 will look like?
